2019 Putnam Competition Results
The results from the 2019 Willliam Lowell Putnam Competition have been announced.
The eightieth Putnam Competition was held on December 7, 2019, and Stanford students performed admirably. Twenty-eight Stanford undergraduates participated in the competition.
The Stanford Team of David Kewei Lin, John Mistele, Hanzhi Zheng, and Yifan Zhu was ranked 3rd out of 488 institutions. This is the best team result in Stanford’s history since 2013 when the Stanford team also came in third place.
