Legendrian submanifolds, contact homology and augmentations - Yashafest Lecture
Frédéric Bourgeois / Université Paris-Sud
Yashafest Special Lecture
Title: Legendrian Submanifolds, Contact Homology and Augmentations.
Legendrian submanifolds have recently enjoyed increasing interest and important developments in contact topology, both from a flexible and a rigid point of view. We shall review some of the techniques and results associated to Legendrian submanifolds, mainly on the rigid side, by means of the Chekanov-Eliashberg differential graded algebra (DGA). We shall then explain how to extract homological invariants (different flavors of contact homology) from this DGA, using one or several augmentations, and describe recent developments in the understanding of these invariants. This last part is a joint work with Damien Galant
