Cédric De Groote selected as a Ric Weiland Graduate Fellow in the Humanities & Sciences

Congratulations to Cédric De Groote who has been selected as a Ric Weiland Graduate Fellow in the Humanities & Sciences. These awards are made to outstanding doctoral candidates in the humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and statistics. Weiland Fellows receive grants for field work, conference travel, books, and other research needs. In addition, semi-annual gatherings bring together Weiland-supported faculty and students across campus.

These fellowships are made possible by the generosity of one of Stanford’s very distinguished alums: the late Ric Weiland. During his lifetime, Weiland supported a diverse set of disciplines and programs in the School of Humanities & Sciences. The Ric Weiland Graduate Fellowships extend his legacy of supporting outstanding young scholars and teachers.
