R.L Cohen Lectures

Established in 2025, the R.L Cohen Distinguished Lecture series brings eminent mathematicians to Stanford University to give lectures on current research, and interact with Stanford faculty and students.

Ralph Louis Cohen was the first director of the Mathematics Research Center (MRC). During his time as director, Professor Cohen established the "Distinguished Lecture Series," designed to bring mathematicians to Stanford University to share research and engage with department faculty and students. The R.L Cohen Distinguished Lecture series expands on the original Distinguished Lecture Series, in honor of the inaugural MRC director.
