Beatrice Yormark Distinguished Lecture Series

Established in 2012, the Beatrice Yormark Distinguished Lecture Series brings outstanding women mathematicians to Stanford to give talks on their research and interact with our students and faculty. 

This distinguished lecture series is supported by a generous donation from Justin Walker, in memory of his late wife, Beatrice Yormark, with additional support from the Stanford Mathematics Research Center. The donation is also used to support other Noetherian Ring activities in our department, including quarterly Noetherian Ring lunches and occasional Yormark visiting scholars.
